Compton Dundon & Littleton Village Hall was
founded in 1937 with the gift of the Coronation Hall by Edmund
Page of Ivythorn Manor, to the residents of Compton Dundon. The
broad object of the charity is to provide facilities for social
and educational use by the residents of Compton Dundon, Littleton
and the surrounding area.
After
more than sixty years, the former hall became much due for
replacement and in 1998 a 3 acre field in Ham Lane was purchased
for a new hall and playing field. The Meadway Hall opened in
August 2000. |
